The training places great emphasis on practical examples and we will present a series of tools that you will be able to use when getting started on your own agile HR initiative. We take you through an agile HR project from setting goals and developing user stories for HR to implementing sprint planning and monitoring the sprint using Kanban.

Recognized as an international leader in the area of agile HR and management frameworks, Pia Maria established the AgileHR certification programme (ICP-TAL) in partnership with ICAgile in 2016.

Before establishing WorkMatters, he founded and led several start-up organisations and was a Partner and Director in Willis Towers Watson where he led the firms HR, reward and Talent consulting business in Ireland from 2002 to 2015. He also established the firm’s ‘Future of Work’ offering in Ireland.

Main area of interest is Agile Performance Management and how to make people work towards a common vision through employee engagement, with creativity and motivation. Agile leadership and agile frameworks are the best ways to create successful change, in my opinion. My main drive is to see the movement from one state to another in a company, contributing by making that change successful both from a financial and human perspective. A qualified executive coach, Kevin also has a masters qualification in leadership and management practice which included award winning research work on the role of agility in preparing for the ‘future of work’. A chartered fellow of the CIPD, Kevin was appointed to the Top Level Appointments Committee (TLAC) which advises Ministers and Government Departments on the selection of senior civil service appointments. A leading expert in organisational agility and the changing world of work, he is a member of the Irish Labour Market Council and was also the founder of Worklink, an internationally recognised coaching and mentoring organisation set up to help unemployed jobseekers into full time employment.
