Overview

In this workshop, you will get unique insights into Business Agility in practice, both from a Financial, Management and Human perspective. You will benefit from Bjarte Bogsnes’s and Pia-Maria Thorén’s extensive experience from organizational structures and cultures that enable success in a complex world.

Companies all over the world who have embarked on this journey, including Equinor (formerly Statoil) – where the budget (and much more) was kicked out 2005.  

Attendees will understand how to trust and empower without losing control, and learn how to redefine performance – with dynamic and relative targets (or no targets at all) and a holistic performance evaluation. The workshop will also cover dynamic forecasting and resource allocation, as well as other examples of self-regulating management mechanisms, including transparency and peer pressure. Bjarte will also share insights into KPI pitfalls and the bonus problem and Pia-Maria will talk about the importance of psychological safety to release creativity, learning ability and performance.

Many practical examples will be shared and attendees will have the opportunity to try out different exercises in groups.

Why is this workshop important?

The level of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity in business environments is at a record high. Traditional management was invented for very different times and is today in serious trouble. Also, today, people expect more from work than just a paycheck.

How can we create an environment where people get the conditions to be happy and perform and at the same time contribute to strategic goals? - A refund of 85% will be given for cancellations received 60 days before the start of the event

- A refund of 50% will be given for cancellations received between 59 days before 31 days to the start of the event

- A refund of 25% will be given for cancellations received between 30 days before 14 days to the start of the event

- No refund will be issued for cancellations received within 14 days of the event.

Thorén

People management consultant and devoted change agent with an enterprise perspective. Main area of interest is Agile Performance Management and how to make people work towards a common vision through employee engagement, with creativity and motivation. Agile leadership and agile frameworks are the best ways to create successful change, in my opinion. My main drive is to see the movement from one state to another in a company, contributing by making that change successful both from a financial and human perspective. My vision is to create customer value and have fun at the same time!
