About This Workshop:

As innovation and disruption continue to increase, more and more organizations are looking for how to change faster in order to remain competitive. Many of those organizations are looking at Agile to do that, but tend to use outdated change management approaches that are not equipped to manage fast-paced change. This 2-day workshop is designed to show you how to use Agile and Lean techniques to facilitate change. Lean Change Management is a modern approach that takes ideas from Lean Startup, Agile, Organizational Development, and Change Management in order to help you figure out the best approach to the change you’re faced with. You’ll learn what Agile is, and how to apply Agile thinking to your change programs, as well as many good practices and light-weight planning and exploration tools for getting your change off the ground and headed in the right direction.

Dillon started his career as a commercial buyer. After five years he made a career change, moving into project management for an e-commerce company. Becoming frustrated with slow delivery in a fast-paced industry, Dillon searched for improved ways to deliver value faster to clients. He has now moved away from a process focus and spends his energy on delivering value to customers quickly. A cornerstone of his expertise is ensuring solid customer-driven feedback to ensure valuable product delivery. In recent years, he has studied coaching and change management. Dillon now has over 10 years’ Agile experience in various industries.

I am a Management Consultant and specialise in Business transformation and People Change Management. I have lead and delivered numerous successful projects across the Banking, Asset Management, Investment Administration, Product Environment and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industries. These projects have included technology deployments, operating model design, digitising knowledge management, training needs analysis as well as mergers and acquisitions. 
In addition to my consulting role I am a certified Lean Change Management practitioner and trainer and own the go to market Change Management training offering at IQbusiness.

One of my biggest passions is Brain Based Coaching and I am a Professional Coach through the Neuro leadership groups Results Coaching System™. With this, I work with executives, consultants, individuals, entrepreneurs and young sport’s people to help set goals, actions and build the mental skills required to succeed in their environments. This interest and skill helped me get involved with the National Mentorship Movement where I mentor fellow South Africans and am the relationship lead for my organisation to help scale this nationwide initiative. 

I am adept at working in a variety of environments. This has led me to have a big interest in innovation, lean thinking and start up’s where I have assisted start up teams in taking their Products to market.
Other interests include how businesses stay relevant in this disruptive age, neuroscience, coaching and people change. I am a fast learner, adaptable and conscientious in my approach to delivering work.
